Scandinavia's longest narrow-gauge railway

The narrow gauge railway between Västervik and Hultsfred is the first Swedish railway that has been listed as a national heritage. For over 70 kilometers Smalspåret winds its way through the countryside of Småland. Here trains run just as they did in former times. Climb aboard the railbus and travel the whole line, or make a break along the way. The railway from 1879 is today a unique heritage artefact which has been saved for future generations thanks to voluntary efforts.
